My spiritual business coach once told me that being an entrepreneur will be one of the greatest personal development journeys I ever embark on. And this statement proves to be true time after time + year after year.
The emotional rollercoaster that is being an entrepreneur is such a stigma, I have realized. Things are only as difficult as we allow them to be, only as stressful as we allow them to be and only as joy filled as we allow them to be.
Speaking of which - I asked my audience to share with me their biggest fears and what most scares them when it comes to building a business + a brand. I shared the top mentioned fears and then tools to help move past fear and into the unknown with grace + willingness. You can listen to it at the end of this post or over on iTunes!
If you want to experience major wins in your business, reach your financial goals AND enjoy the process then you have to give yourself permission to do just that.
You have to allow yourself the opportunity to enjoy the process.
CHOOSE to believe everyday, that whatever happens, is happening for you and not against you. Allow yourself the opportunity to experience the wins and CELEBRATE them when they happen. Big or small, they deserve recognition.
Why do we always skip the celebration part when it comes to our business?! Or maybe that is just me. It has always felt much easier to just move on to the next goal and create the next thing than it is to pause and reflect on what has been accomplished. But that is the work, right? The growth, magic + expansion happens during the time when we lean in on what feels tough. And when you think that the universe is pushing against you, its really pulling you into the next level.

And if you're going to give yourself permission to celebrate, you also have to give yourself the permission...

To make mistakes.
To fail.
To receive feedback with grace.
To find creative solutions.
To show up every day.
To dig just one more layer deeper.
To kick it up just one more notch.
To have difficult conversation.
To ask better quality questions.

The work you do on the way to ‘success’, whatever that might look like for you TODAY, is as much an inner job (maybe even more so) as it is an external job.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What’s happening on this inside will be reflected in the external work you are doing. Or not doing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This means, if you stay the same, functioning at the same level - expect your results to stay the same.
And fear, its always going to show up. Its going to show up at whatever income level + phase of business you are currently at and its going to show up when you are making seven figures. BUT, the more connected you can get to what your reaction is to the fears + the amount of time it takes you to bounce back and keep moving forward... this is what will keep you ahead. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So, give yourself permission to feel what it feels like to have the things you desire, as if you already have them. With or without the fear, I want you to feel what it feels like to already make your desired income. To already live in the home you dream of. To wake up every single day doing the work you love AND be compensated for it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And keep doing this everyday, feeling what it’s like to already have the things you desire and watch how opportunities arise for you to take purposeful action towards bringing these ‘things’ into fruition.
